Fleur (Missing on Loan)
Given on permanent loan to someone in Essex november 2008, on the basis of companion/broadmare. I was promised I could visit once she was settled and a few months down the line the lady was uncontactable. Her address details did not match the postcode she gave me, she took her passport and I have only recently found out that the details were not updated! Contacted the passport agency in 2010 asking for them to write a letter to the lady for any information, Ive been waiting for two years. Only to find out now that my details still remain on her passport. Unfortunately I have no more information on Fleurs whereabouts.

Stolen from Monkswood, Gwent between Sunday 9th August at 4.30pm and Monday 10th August. May have been taken to the Bristol area.
Height: 15 2hh Sex: gelding, Age: 12 years old. Colours: brown and White skewbald, cob cross. Mainly white, but has coloured marks on his right nostril. He has a brown block of colour that extends from his right eye across his forelock area and includes his left ear and most of his left cheek. On the underside of his neck is a large block of brown.
All four limbs are white with feathering and on his left back leg is a coloured patch that extends into his groin. The right side of his body has a triangular coloured area in the saddle area and he has 2 more coloured areas over his right hip and right stifle areas. His left side has a large colour patch extending down his flank into his left groin.
At the moment the top of his tail is bald where he has rubbed it away. He has minor sweet itch that affects the top of his tail and slightly on his mane.
Not freeze marked or micro chipped. However he has a passport. He is approximately

Three Fillies Stolen Sometime between 11am on 15th August and 6.30pm on 16th August 3 fillies were stolen from a field between Martock and South Petherton in Somerset. The field is on the South Petherton side of Paratt Works in Martock. The fillies are valued at £3000 each. The lock and chain securing the gate is believed to have been cut with a grinder, the fillies have then been separated from their mothers and loaded into a horse box.

Bess Stolen from a field in Danbury sometime between 10p.m. on Wednesday 24th June and approx. 3p.m. on Thursday 25th June. The Colour: Piebald Breed: Cob Sex: Mare Age: 6 Years Height: 14hh This horse was out in the field with her 14 month old piebald foal. The foal was not taken. She is unshod and suffers from sweet itch on her mane. She is not freeze marked or chipped but does have a passport. A green pick up truck towing a grey trailer was seen in the area but unfortunately no-one actually saw the horse being stolen. Padlocks on the gate and electric fencing in the field were both cut through.

Where are they now? Sonic & Oscar Sold very cheaply to a woman advertising for a companion. Believed that these horses were sold on within a few days. They were only sold because she promised to keep them for life and keep them together. Missing since late September 08.

WORLD-WIDE REPORT Five Show-Jumpers Stolen From Belgium
During the night of the 27th December 2008, in Chanxehe (part of the village Sprimont) in Belgium, 7 horses were stolen.
Among them 5 showjumpers and 2 young stallions (Not broken - a bay one and a black one - No Photos).
The chestnut has a special ¾ shaped iron shoe. 4 horses have the following microchip : MOUCHE 056098100266930 POLO 972000000867691 ATHLETE 972000000867929 LIAGO 972000000874378
2 young stallions were also stolen. Unfortunately we do not have any pictures. They are 4 years old, one brown-black and one black. They have not yet been broken in and do not yet have a chip. The chestnut (Athlete) has a special iron (3/4). He needs to be re-shoed, so it might be interesting to alert any blacksmiths you know.

Drummer Stolen: Between 5 p.m. and 6 p.m. on Tuesday 6th November 2007. from his field in Headley, Hampshire. Age: 6 years old rising 7 Height: 16 hands 1 ins Sex: Gelding heavyweight. Freezemarked: 7ME1 (slightly faint and was due to be redone) on his near side saddlepatch.
Other Information: Drummer was fully clipped out for the winter with just his saddle patch, face, part of his neck and his stomach left to be finished. It was a very poor clip that was due to be completed during the week. He still has his leg feathers however we have shortened his mane and forlock for the winter. He is shod in front with road nails however he has no back shoes. He is overweight and was stolen or went missing with a Weatherbeeta blue light weight rug 6ft 9 ins.
He is currently unfit and just coming back into work

Circumstances: This mare has been sold on by a woman in Essex advertising for companions. The deal was that she was to take the horse on loan as a companion to her unsound mare. The owner had the mare from a foal and the woman promised she was going to offer a home for life and that the owner could visit whenever she liked. The owner made totally sure that the woman understood what the horse meant to her. At the last minute the woman said she would give The Owner £200 so that she would be responsible if the horse was ever ill etc. When The Owner subsequently tried to contact the woman, she could not be found. The Owner visited the place where the horse had been delivered and she was gone. She still has the passport. |

The Owner saw an advert on Horse Mart for a companion pony offering a kind loving home plus a nominal fee - unsoundness was not a problem. The owner sent the transfer of ownership details to Farmkey on the 1st June 2007 and a little later it came back address unknown.

Stolen / Missing whilst on loan
Sex: Gelding Age: 17 - 19yrs Height: 14h Colour: Black Markings: One sock on the near hind with a black mark on the coronet. He also has some white hairs on his muzzle. Other information: He is very slightly lame on a hind leg; he is middleweight, with no feathers and when he went out on loan was very hairy, having not been worked for a while He hates children and will bite - badly The owner still has his passport details, so this pony will have been sold without a passport - or if he has a passport, it will be very new! He was sold from Clacton/Weeley area of Essex less than a month after going out on loan. The owner thought she had taken all necessary precautions against theft

Breed: Suffolk Punch x, Height: 16hh, Colour: chestnut Freeze mark: On his back (37M8), registered to previous owner who is known to the loser Circumstances: The aggrieved answered an advert placed on the Horse Mart website, for a companion horse. Trojan was accepted as the companion and was taken by the advertiser. However, all contact has now been lost the the Aggrieved believes that the horse has been sold on. No further details can be given as the matter is the subject of a police investigation The same person or perhaps a family member is now advertising for another one on Horse Mart ref no.HM710B2C and owners are advised to wait for this matter to be resolved before responding 11th JUNE 2007 TROJAN HAS NOW BEEN RECOVERED AFTER HIS DETAILS WERE SEEN ON THIS SITE. We are still anxious to trace the movements of this horse. |
