The Aims of Essex Horsewatch

1. To encourage crime prevention, including security marking.

2. To develop a network of communication, so that the police and owners of equines can act swiftly on information received.

3. To inform owners of equines about security products currently on the market, in order that they can safeguard their property.

4. To arrange marking sessions for horses, tack and trailers, by approved methods, that conform to police policy

5. To participate in the national network between Forces, so as to assist in locating stolen property.
